Tips for Playing Holdem Heads-Up Poker Tournaments
A heads-up poker tournament is when you play poker against only one other player and the winner takes the prize pool while the loser leaves with nothing. It offers a 50% chance of winning which is the highest percentage you’ll find when starting a tournament which is one of the main reasons why players are attracted to these tournaments. If you’re used to playing larger tournaments then you’re going to need to change your playing style around so that you can be successful in heads-up tournaments. It’s completely different and a whole new mind set is needed when you’re heads-up, lets now look at some tips you can follow to improve your heads-up game.
* Position means a lot in pocker no matter what sized tournament you play and if you have position then you can benefit from the fact your opponents need to act first.

If your opponent only wins your blind every few hands and you’re winning three times the blind off of them in that time then you’re doing great.
